Peer Support Clubhouse
The Peer Support Clubhouse is a trauma-informed, community-centered virtual space designed to foster connection and stability for transitioning service members, veterans, and their spouses by integrating peer support specialists, peer-certified volunteers, digital empowerment, and resource navigation.
The clubhouse is designed to address:
Social isolation
- Social isolation and loss of community after leaving military service.
Barriers to personal wellbeing
- Barriers to personal wellbeing, including lack of access to timely mental health services, and difficulty navigating those resources.
Lack of Immediate support
- Lack of immediate peer-to-peer support to bridge the gap while awaiting mental health enrollment or appointments.
Crisis prevention
- Crisis prevention and safety planning.
Personal & professional clarity
- Personal & professional clarity including identity, purpose, and resilience.
Limited digital literacy training
- Limited digital literacy training and difficulty navigating complex service systems without ongoing peer guidance.
